Almond flour or wheat flour, what is the healthiest to bake yourself and lose weight easier? We increasingly bake bread, biscuits and cake ourselves. That way you know what you are eating. We mainly bake with wheat flour, but almond flour is on the rise. This is part of our quest for healthier and more natural food. Almond flour is the result of ground and blanched or cooked almonds. The brown skin around almonds comes off during cooking. There is also almond powder. This is ground even finer, is low in carbohydrates and contains many healthy fats and fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber.

But what do you bake the healthiest and lose weight easier? With almond or wheat flour?

With almond flour you bake pancakes as well as biscuits cake, pie and all other pastries. They are at least as flavorful, fluffy and creamy as with the use of wheat flour.
